The Potter’s Hands
As I contemplate the value of family and friends, only two words come to mind "If Only".
If only they see me as My Lord sees me, they would know there is no need to measure.
If only they see the heart that He sees in me, there would be no words to injure.
If only they knew He died because I am a sinner, and fall short of any perfection, they would know I have faults too and am forgiven in Him.
If Only, they knew I have an audience of One, and if they did, they would know if I have done anything to offend, injure or fall short of perfectionist eyes, that He and He alone will refine me with His perfect hands.
If Only, they knew in the eyes of The Potter, the grandest design is in His hands in me. And as any artist would know, a paint brush or Photo shop can never capture the true depths of the soul as He.
If Only, being Christian meant I was perfect. Ahhh, but then, would I not need the Savior anymore?
As for me I think I will wait on the Potter’s Hands to determine the design he has planned for me.
